HealthWISE is here to support your health journey with a range of allied and primary health services across New England North West NSW.

What is Primary Health?

Primary health care is typically the first point of contact for health concerns and includes health promotion, prevention, early intervention, treatment of acute conditions, and chronic condition management.

What is Allied Health?

Allied health includes a broad range of health professionals who are not doctors, dentists, or nurses. HealthWISE provides various allied health services to meet the diverse needs of our communities.

What We Offer

Primary Health Care

Primary health care is your first stop when you have a health concern. This includes health education, prevention, early intervention, and managing chronic health conditions.

Allied Health Care

Allied health includes various health professionals who are not doctors, dentists, or nurses. We offer many allied health services to help keep you healthy, like speech pathology and dietetics.

Priority Allied Health Services Program (PAHS)

PAHS helps people in small rural areas access health services close to home. The program is free for Health Care Card holders, pensioners, and low-income earners. You will need a referral from your GP (general practitioner), practice nurse, or allied health professional.

Remote Medical Specialists

We bring specialist medical and allied health services to rural and remote areas. Specialists travel to provide care. Usually, you need a GP referral for these services. Contact us for more information.
