Psychosocial Support

HealthWISE offers confidential support for people living with mental health challenges. Our service is non-clinical, which means we focus on practical help rather than medical treatment. If you need short-term, low-intensity support to manage daily life, we can work with you to support your recovery, build confidence, and develop skills so you can live independently and feel connected to your community.

We offer personalised support to:

Service Locations

Available to people aged 16 years and over living in Ipswich and the Southern Downs region.

How to Access Our Services

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be over 16
  • Have a severe and complex mental illness impacting your daily psychosocial wellbeing
  • Are not funded under other programs such as NDIS

Referrals can be made by individuals, family and carers, GPs, or other health professionals.

You can also phone Medicare Mental Health on 1800 595 212 or visit a Medicare Mental Health Centre and nominate HealthWISE as your preferred provider.
