Healthy Ageing Groups

The Healthy Ageing groups cater for people both in the community and those living in Residential Aged Care Facilities.

The aim of the program/groups is to assist people who have had falls, or are at risk of falling, and to improve strength and balance overall for all participants.

In partnership with HealthWISE, local providers generally organise the groups through advertising/word of mouth. No referral is necessary.

Who can access the program?

This free service is offered to older people living in the community and also to people living in some Residential Aged Care Facilities where these services are not covered by Medicare or other funding arrangements.
